Technical insight at the source

Marble block sourcing & export coordination

A well-defined block purchase starts with understanding the material and its intended use. Marble Design works with importers, processors and stone businesses to source rough marble blocks through its quarry relationships.

NATURAL STONE. EXCEPTIONAL SPACES.Material selection
01

Experience behind the selection

Founded in 2019 by Mining Engineer Alp Zaimoğlu, Marble Design brings natural stone industry experience dating to 2010 to its sourcing work. Experience across quarry management, production and sales informs how material requirements are discussed and evaluated.

02

Blocks matched to your processing needs

Tell us the intended product, preferred colour and structure, target block dimensions and quantity. We discuss selection criteria with sourcing partners, including visible characteristics and the information available for each candidate block. Natural stone assessment cannot eliminate every internal variation.

03

A clear record before commitment

Request available current images, block identification, dimensions and weight information for the material under review. Inspection arrangements, acceptance criteria and any additional checks are agreed individually. Product names and website photographs are a starting point for an enquiry, not a reservation of a particular block.

04

Coordinate the commercial and export process

Once material and terms are agreed, the supply process can include coordination of loading, export documentation and freight arrangements within the agreed scope. Destination, delivery terms, responsibilities and timing are defined in the quotation and order documents.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few answers.
Before we begin.

Does Marble Design own the quarries shown?

Marble Design sources through quarry and production partners. Quarry or factory imagery does not imply ownership of those facilities.

Can I enquire about a stone that is not listed?

Yes. Send a name, clear reference images and your requirements. We can investigate sourcing options and confirm what is available.

Are catalogue images a live inventory?

No. Availability and the characteristics of a particular block must be confirmed with current information before a purchase.

Do you guarantee processing yield?

Yield depends on block structure, dimensions, processing and the intended product. Any requirements and acceptance terms should be evaluated for the specific block; a general yield guarantee is not implied.
